Kali Mata Mandir, situated on the banks of Hiran river in Kunsari village, located 23 km from Dhimarkheda tehsil headquarters, has been a centre of faith for people for years. People believe that this place is connected to the Kali temple of Kolkata. The belief here is that Banshilal Bagri of the village once went to Kolkata Kali temple for darshan but due to the crowd he could not go inside. Then he meditated on the Kali Mata of Kunsari and the priest of the Kali temple sent a person from inside to call him inside. There are two places of Mata in Kunsari, one on the banks of Hiran river and one inside the village, people come from far and wide to visit them.
