Mahadevi Mata’s Madhiya was built during the British rule –
Maa Mahadevi’s place is in Dashraman village of Dhimarkheda tehsil. People worship the goddess here in the form of a rock. People believe that the rock is about 25 feet high and its height increases every year. Earlier, the rock here was only 5 to 6 feet. There is a small Madhiya built during the British rule at this 200-year-old place, during the construction of which a stream of milk and blood came out and the work was stopped. A fair is held every year on Basant Panchami at this place built on the banks of Katla river. Maa Mahadevi’s place is in the middle of the forests of Dhimarkheda and people also come here to enjoy the natural site.
