Umardoli Dam

100 years old Umardoli Dam is made of stones-
People come from far and wide to see the beauty and engineering of Umardoli Dam which was built with unmatched engineering, 10 years of hard work and carving of stones. Umardoli reservoir is the only arch dam of its kind in the state. The construction of Borina reservoir, built by joining two mountains between Baklehta and Chargawan villages of Rethi tehsil, started in the year 1914. It took 10 years to build the dam by cutting and carving the stones of the mountains. People come to this place with their families to enjoy picnics along with seeing the craftsmanship and natural site of the 1520 feet long and 74 feet high reservoir. The forest department also organizes trekking every year in the middle of the forest. There is a forest adjacent to Arch Dam Umardoli, which attracts people.
