Katni Stone and Marble Craft “ADHARSHILA” Festival
District Katni is proud to launch ADHARSHILA – a one of its kind and Madhya Pradesh’s first Stone Art Festival. Join us in celebrating Katni Stone under One District One Product (ODOP) at our first Katni Stone Fest.
An opportunity for sculptors from across India to carve and present their creations on sandstone and marble.
Creations from the festival will be placed for an exhibition-cum-auction on the closing day of ADHARSHILA.

In order to provide beautiful opportunities to stone and marble craftsmen, Katni district is organizing “ADHARSHILA” festival from 09th November to 28th November 2021. In this, Rock Arts will be made on sand stone and marble by the craftsmen.
The following facilities will be provided to the craftsmen –
- Transport fare for “ADHARSHILA” to the craftsman and one of his/her assistant.
- Arrangement for their accommodation and food during Stone Festival.
- Rs. 40000 /- to the craftsman and Rs. 20000 /- to his or her assistant will be given as honorarium at the prevailing rate.
- Special tools will be provided on the request of the Craftsman are required to bring stone carving tools and Special tools will be provided on the request of the Craftsman to prepare the artwork.
- Provision of tents, lights, water and security at the work place.
- Prize will be awarded to the best work by the prescribed committee.
- Exhibition and Auction of Artifacts on the last day of “ADHARSHILA” Stone Festival.
- All rights of the Organizer will be reserved on the Artworks made.
